I am inspired by the YouTube video Genre of silent hour-long videos periodically disrupted by a random sound. The videos are a form of satire and humor that result in a experience of suspense. The viewer listens to silence while curated sounds are periodically played. The concept is complex while the execution is simple - This series of artworks function as a sound installation to be installed with other artworks - thus to break the silence within the conventional art space and create suspense.
